Gutmann appoints Louis Kahane as CEO and nominates Meinhard Platzer as a new member of the Management Board

VIENNA, September 8, 2025 - The Supervisory Board of Bank Gutmann AG has appointed Louis Kahane as CEO with immediate effect. In addition, Meinhard Platzer has been appointed as a member of the Management Board and Head of Clients as of January 1, 2026. With this step, Gutmann sends a clear signal for the long-term development of the company.

Louis Kahane succeeds Marcel Landesmann, who will continue to work for the company as a Partner. The Supervisory Board would like to thank Marcel Landesmann for his formative leadership and outstanding commitment. Under Landesmann's leadership, a significant cultural transition was initiated and the company was significantly developed.
 
Louis Kahane has extensive management experience in international finance and has been a member of the Executive Board since 2022, responsible for the Private Clients division.
