Zoltán Baki

Zoltán Baki, as Member of the Management Board of the Hungarian office between 2004 - 2020, helped to establish Gutmann Hungary, the Bank’s first foreign subsidiary. As a partner he places great importance on preserving clients’ family wealth across generations, which the Gutmann team personally supports with advice, attention and trust. Wealth transfer and understanding entrepreneurial families are essential, and in light of this both Gutmann Bank and the Hungarian affiliate are members of the Family Business Network. Alesia Budko

Alesia Budko has been working for Private Clients at Bank Gutmann since 2010. She is a partner of the Bank and is responsible for advising and serving international private clients and entrepreneurs. She has a Master’s degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business with a focus on investments and finance.

Béla Esterházy is a partner in Bank Gutmann, where he has worked since 2016. After completing a Swiss banking education and an executive MBA, he gained years of experience in banking in Switzerland and Austria. As a happy husband and father, Béla Esterházy knows that personal as well as business relationships are a matter of great trust, conscientious care and constant development.
Karl Fahrnberger
Department Head Operations
Karl Fahrnberger joined the Gutmann Group in 1994 and become head of the Operations department in 2006. After having trained as a banker he specialised in securities transactions and management. For him, success is not only about achieving long-term goals but also about one's day-to-day work – an attitude that is essential in leading people. As markets change in ever shorter cycles, such a results- and solution-driven management style is becoming increasingly valuable. To motivate staff he values recognition of performance and fosters an open exchange of views.
Claudia Figl
Department Head Private Clients
Claudia Figl joined Bank Gutmann in 2005 after holding various positions at major Austrian banks. She has been serving on the management board of Gutmann Ungarn Investment Beratungs AG since 2007 and has been member of the Department Private Clients Management Team since 2014. An internationally certified financial consultant, she boasts nearly 30 years of experience in banking and finance with a focus on international private banking. She is also deputy chairman of the board of Austrian Financial Planners. Figl has a long track record in managing inter-cultural teams and has moreover been acting as senior financial advisor to international private clients, foundations and trusts. A certified mental coach, she values the responsible approach pursued by Bank Gutmann in dealing with its clients and staff and works with special dedication on the regulatory challenges of banking in the current environment. Within Private Clients she is responsible, among other things, for monitoring quality standards and customer-specific process management.

Martin Grolig
Head of Legal
Martin Grolig has worked in the legal department of Bank Gutmann since 2004 and has been head of the legal department since 2013. He holds positions in investment management companies of the Gutmann Group in the real estate and private equity sectors. He is Bank Gutmann’s contact person with supervisory authorities and represents Bank Gutmann in various interest groups.
Martina Haschke-Pistori
Head of Accounting & Regulatory Reporting
Martina Haschke-Pistori has been working in the cost accounting department at Bank Gutmann since 1991. In 1995, she was made Head of Accounting and in 2015 appointed as Head of Human Resources - Payroll Accounting. Alongside her professional activities, she received a Master of Accounting, Finance and Taxes. Her contribution to the bank’s success is based on commitment, competence, an optimistic attitude as well as supporting and motivating for her co-workers.

Robert Karas

Robert Karas is Chief Investment Officer and partner of Bank Gutmann. Since 2019 he has been part of the team. Having previously served as Chief Investment Officer in an Austrian private bank, the top asset manager and Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) boasts long-standing experience and international expertise.

Hannes Kolar
Department Head IT-Solutions
Hannes Kolar has been with Gutmann since 2004, previously at Gutmann Kapitalanlagegesellschaft and since 2017 at Bank Gutmann. A graduate in financial mathematics and software development, he is a long-standing Gutmann expert in performance analysis with a strong commitment to providing clients with the best possible service combined with meaningful reporting. In the course of his work at Gutmann, Mr. Kolar has been responsible for major projects in the areas of client reporting, online reporting and process optimization as project manager.
In his function as Head of IT Solutions, he is responsible for software development of internal applications with high quality. He describes leading by example, not imitating, as the most important motto of his work. Hannes Kolar has been a partner of the bank since 2022.
Tomáš Končický
Head of Gutmann Prague
Tomáš Končický joined the Gutmann Group in 2011 and has since been head of the Bank Gutmann subsidiary in the Czech Republic. He has had more than twenty years of experience in leading positions in international private banks in the Czech Republic. He views the decision made by the Bank to open an independent subsidiary in the Czech market as a substantiation of the engagement of the company in the Central- and Eastern European region. He enjoys building up personal relationships with clients with the intention to understand their needs and interests in the best possible manner.

Robert König
Department Head Private Clients
Robert König joined Bank Gutmann in 2011 and became a partner in 2021. After many years as an account manager, Robert König is now a member of the Private Clients division management team, focusing primarily on international private clients. He graduated in law from the University of Vienna and completed professional development courses at the London School of Economics and INSEAD. As a cosmopolitan, he feels at home anywhere in the world where culture and liberalism are highly valued.

Harald Latzko joined Gutmann in 2001. He is a managing director of Gutmann KAG and responsible for legal and tax matters as well as risk management. He is a partner of Bank Gutmann since 2023. He is a member of the board of directors of VÖIG (the Austrian Association of Investment Fund Management Companies). Harald Latzko studied law in Vienna.

Thomas Neuhold

Thomas Neuhold started his career at Gutmann KAG in 2004. After 3 years in risk management he was responsible for the management of the Gutmann bond funds since 2007. Since 2018 he is managing director of Gutmann KAG and responsible for fund management. His responsibilities are the implementation of investment strategies and the decision making process in fund management. Thomas Neuhold has been a partner at Bank Gutmann since 2021.

Christoph Olbrich

Christoph Olbrich has been with Gutmann KAG since 2007 and has been Head of the Equity Fund Management Division since 2014. Before that, he worked in Eastern European fund management and in risk management at an Austrian fund company. He has been a member of the Board of Gutmann KAG since 2021 and in this capacity responsible for fund management. His main tasks are the implementation and structuring of the equity strategies of Gutmann KAG.

As a graduate of University of Economics in Prague with a master’s degree in banking and accounting, pursuing studies at a business college in Sydney and earning an MBA from Sheffield Hallam University, UK, Jan Prachař has had more than twenty years of experience in leading positions in international private banks in the Czech Republic. He regards the increasing challenges in wealth management industry as welcome development and striving to maintain personal relationship with client and increasing banking specialization as important tool to keep leading position in private banking industry in Central and Eastern Europe.

Anton Resch

Anton Resch joined the Gutmann Group in 2001 and was a member of the Board of Management of Kapitalanlagegesellschaft for twelve years. He is partner of the Bank and member of the Institutional Clients division management team. This department includes servicing institutional clients and developing and managing our private markets solutions. Open communication and lived sense of responsibility towards all stakeholders and society are very important to him. Anton Resch is also guided by these maxims in his work as a member of the executive board of two real estate companies and in his function as chairman of the supervisory board of Gutmann KAG.

Wolfgang Sieder

Wolfgang Sieder joined Gutmann in 2018 and became a partner in 2022. After working at private banks in Austria, he is advising domestic private clients and private foundations. His regional focus is on Styria and Carinthia. The certified Wealth Management Advisor has around 30 years of experience in banking and finance. Mr Sieder is a graduate of Danube University Krems, holds a Master of Science degree in Banking & Finance (MSc.) and has completed an MBA program in General Management.

Jörg Strasser has been with the Gutmann Group since 1999. He became head of division Operations at Bank Gutmann AG in 2013. His focus is on evaluating the net asset value of the Gutmann KAG investment funds, IT-project management and client service.

Sabine Tittler
Department Head Private Clients
Sabine Tittler has been a customer advisor at Gutmann since 2008. In addition to her academic degree with a focus on international business administration, she has taken part in various management training programs and is certified as a financial and investment advisor.
The focus of her activities is on the acquisition and support of our customers in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. Her portfolio of private clients, entrepreneurs and foundations is supplemented by mandates in Tyrol and South Tyrol.
Ms. Tittler describes the harmonization of social and professional competence as an important foundation for relationship and trust management. In particular, she focuses on cross-generational wealth planning and targeted employee development. Born in Burgenland, since 2022 she has been Division Head of Private Clients, is constantly involved in projects and promotes innovation in the company. In 2022, Mrs. Tittler became a partner in the bank.

Szabolcs Varga
Head of Gutmann Budapest
Szabolcs Varga joined the Gutmann Group in 2004 and has since been managing Gutmann Hungary, the Bank’s first foreign branch. He regards the decision to serve the Hungarian market as confirmation of the Bank's commitment to the Central and East European region. Compared with Austrian clients, relationships in Hungary are characterised by a stronger emotional quality, which values the personal attitude of staff as much as their performance. Striving to maintain Bank Gutmann’s reputation as the leading private bank in Hungary, he increasingly also addresses a younger clientele and thus supports the current transition from one generation to the next.
