Breakfast with Guy Spier.

Omaha is a great opportunity to catch up with long-time investor friends. A breakfast with Guy Spier, for example. The successful investor has been in the business since the 1990s and was the catalyst for my first trip to the Berkshire Hathaway meeting in 2003. 20 years is a nice anniversary.

In the course of the Glide Foundation's annual charity auction, Guy and Mohnish Pabrai bought a dinner with Warren Buffett in 2007. In retrospect, the $650,100 turned out to be not only a meaningful donation, but also an excellent value investment. The last winner already paid $19 million.

Addendum: On the morning of the meeting I met Mohnish at half past five and took a photo with him for the second time after 2012. I share both photos with you.
