Investment advice

Clients who are personally interested in the financial markets often wish to do their own asset management. Bank Gutmann supports such clients by providing individual investment advice that aligns the client’s ideas with current market developments.

In investment advisory sessions, the client and his relationship manager closely work together in building a securities portfolio to ensure that the client’s needs and interests can be met in a specific market environment. While the client takes his own decisions regarding the composition of his portfolio, Bank Gutmann provides proactive support in the shape of sound investment recommendations.

Taking the measure and pursuing a structured approach

At the beginning, the client’s situation and ideas are assessed in a personal consulting session and structured by applying the Gutmann taking-the-measure process.

This process captures key conditions, return expectations and the client’s risk tolerance as well as the investment horizon planned and the projected level of withdrawals. Legal and tax aspects are also taken into account.
