Independence

Founded in 1922, Privatbank Gutmann is a wealth management specialist and market leader in Austria. An 80 percent interest in the Bank is held by the Kahane family, another 20 percent by executive and non-executive partners ("The Gutmann Partnership Approach"). Gutmann currently manages assets worth more than EUR 16.9 billion (Status as at 2013-03-31).

Agreement on benchmarks for performance control and consideration of tax/legal criteria are key components of a customised solution.

Bank Gutmann has received multiple awards from independent experts. In the prestigious Fuchbriefe Test 2010 of the best asset managers in the German-speaking countries, the Bank was elected "Best bank in Austria". In the Euromoney Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey 2010, Gutmann won first place in the category "Best private banking services overall" in Hungary and was named "Best foreign bank" in Romania.
